Who is it for?

A book proposal is essentially a business plan for your book. Many nonfiction books (though rarely memoir) are sold to publishers on the basis of a polished proposal that showcases the author's project.

In a fiercely competitive environment, authors need a proposal that is well-crafted, demonstrates an understanding of the book market, and draws the attention of agents and publishers.

How much does it cost?

I charge $2,250 to support a writer through the preparation of a book proposal. This includes six submissions of material to compile the various elements of the proposal. I provide feedback on each submission, which is then discussed during a one-hour coaching call (total six calls).

What you get

Guidance as you develop each element of the book proposal, including the overview, audience analysis and marketing plan.
Two rounds of comments on your sample chapter. (If you need feedback on a second sample chapter, this is available for an additional $500).
